Mr. Daubney was inform- <br /> ed that the Planning Board and Council would do whatever was possible to <br /> expedite the coordinated zoning of the boundary properties. Thee being no <br /> further discussion, Councilman Dougherty moved and seconded by Councilman <br /> Bailey that the request for rezoning of Parcel 1551 and the South 118.9 ft. <br /> of parcel 1556 from light industrial to multiple be denied as not conforming <br /> to the Village Master Zoning Plan. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> After discussion, Motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Bailey <br /> that the request for the addition of a second story to the existing chemical <br /> storage building of Medtronics Inc. be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> The building of an addition toth a north of the existing building of Medtronics <br /> Inc. was considered. After considerable discussion, Councilman Dougherty moved <br /> that the matter be tabled for further study of the parking requirements. <br /> • The motion failed for dant of a second. <br /> Councilman Bailey moved and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the preliminary <br /> plan as presented for an addition to Medtronics Inc. building be approved. <br /> Voting on the motions <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Bailey <br /> May: Dougherty <br /> Absent not voting: Springer, Sorenson <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> The Village Manager was directed to install "no parking anytime" signs on Old <br /> Highway #8 from 33rd Avenue N.E. to New Highway #8. <br /> A request of Horton Connett to rezone lots 5, 6 & 7, Block 1, Pat Pen Addition <br /> was considered. After considerable discussion, motion by Mayor O'Connor and <br /> seconded by Councilman Dougherty that no hearing be set on request for change <br /> in zoning. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> John Bureau and his attorney, Mr. Brill, presented revised plans for the <br /> proposed Goodyear Service Center. After discussion, Councilman Dougherty <br /> moved and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the preliminary pians for the <br /> Goodyear Service Center be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
