=e <br /> • VILLAGE OF ST, ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> August 8, 1967 <br /> The regular meeting of the Village Council of St. Anthony was called to order <br /> by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock P.M. Tuesday August 8, 1967. <br /> The following were present at roll call : <br /> O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey <br /> Absent: Sorenson <br /> It was noted that on page 2, last paragraph that the word "plan" should read <br /> "plat", minutes of July 25, 1967. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty and seconded by Councilman Springer that <br /> the minutes of July 25, 1967 be approved as amended. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> After discussion, motion by Councilman Dougherty and seconded by Mayor <br /> O'Connor that a variance of 7' be granted over lot 4, block 4, Harstad's 2nd <br /> • addition. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Park Board Chairman Everett Hamilton, reviewed the Board's minutes of their <br /> August 3, 1967 meeting. <br /> Councilman Dougherty moved and seconded by Councilman Bailey that the bid <br /> of Crowley Fence Company be accepted for the construction of back stop hoods <br /> at Ramsey Park and Central Park in the amount of $890.00. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey <br /> Nay: None <br /> Absent not voting: 'Sorenson <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Mayor O'Connor moved and seconded by Councilman Springer that the bid of <br /> Miracle Equipment Company be-accepted for the supplying of playground equip- <br /> ment in the amount of $2,026.00 <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Ayes O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey <br /> Nay: None <br /> Absent not voting: Sorenson <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
