• VILLAGE OF ST, ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> October 10, 1967 <br /> The regular meeting of the Village Council of St. Anthony was called to order <br /> by the Mayor at 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 1101, 1967. The following were <br /> present at roll call : <br /> O'Connor, Dougherty, Bailey, Emond and Springer <br /> Also present: Raymond Haik, Village Attorney, who in the absence of Village <br /> Manager, John Printon, was also taking minutes recording the actions of the <br /> Council. <br /> Motion by Councilman Dougherty, seconded by Councilman Bailey that the minutes <br /> of the meeting of September 26, 1967 be approved as printed. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> The Village Council reviewed the minutes of the Park and Recreation Advisory <br /> Committee and instructed the Village Manager to obtain copies of the report <br /> prepared by Howard Dahlgren for the area of the Village which includes the <br /> Salvation Army Camp and also to obtain copies of the Park Development Report <br /> prepared by Brauer and Associates for the Village including the Salvation Army <br /> • Camp and the area adjacent to the Village Holding Pond. The Manager was also <br /> instructed to obtain a copy of the latest zoning map of the Village of New <br /> Brighton and to discuss with New Brighton officials the information pertaining <br /> to contemplated zoning changes, if any, in the area adjazent to the Village <br /> of St. Anthony in the vicinity of the Village Holding Pond. <br /> The Mayor reviewed the material received requesting the Village to again <br /> participate in the Suburban Hennepin County Nursing District, following which <br /> a motion was made by Councilman Dougherty that Resolution No. 67-046, relating <br /> to the participation in the Suburban Hennepin County Nursing District, be <br /> adopted, which motion was seconded by Councilman Bailey. <br /> Voting on the Resolution: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Bailey, Emond, Springer <br /> Nay: None <br /> The Resolution was declared adopted. <br /> The Council reviewed the September Sales Summary for the Municipal Liquor Store. <br /> and expressed their appreciation for the promptness of the report and were <br /> pleased with the report indicating a continued increase in the business act- <br /> ivity at the Liquor Stores. <br /> The Council discussed the notice indicating that the Labor Conciliators Offices <br /> • were petitioned to resolve the differences with the Locals 49, representing <br /> the maintenance workers, and Local 57, representing the police officers. The <br /> Manager was requested to determine whather the Village of St. Anthony was the <br /> only municipality in the Metropolitan Area which did not concur in the recom- <br /> mendation with respect to the extent of the wage increase to be given the <br /> Municipal Maintenance Workers. <br />
