Other letters of communication were <br /> received and ordered filed. <br /> The Village Manager was directed to contact Dean Lund, Executive Secretary <br /> of the Minnesota League of Municipalities, regarding a meeting with the <br /> Council to discuss a metro section salary survey proposal. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Bailey and seconded by Mayor O'Connor it was moved <br /> that the request of N.S.P. to open cut Old Highway #8 south of 31st Avenue <br /> N.E. for the installation of a 5" conduit to serve Medtronics Inc. be denied. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Springer and seconded by Councilman Dougherty it <br /> was moved that the engineers certificate in the amount of $43.20 be approved <br /> for payment. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey,, Emond <br /> Nay: None <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Councilman Springer introduced Resolution No. 67-054 and moved that it be <br /> 10 adopted. _ <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 67-054 <br /> RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE IMPROVEMENT OF 37TH <br /> AVENUE N.E.
