The notice of a 40' RAI request by Hennepin County was <br /> ordered forwarded to Buetow and Associates. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond that a Xmas tree <br /> license request by the Ward Company of Apache be denied. <br /> Voting on the motion. <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Crouse, Emond. <br /> Nay : Springer, Dougherty. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The report of the Village Attorney regarding the Courts ' decision denying <br /> the Village right to require the hook up of the Lowry Grove Trailer Park <br /> to the Village system was discussed. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that on advice of <br /> the Village Attorney, the Lowry Grove Trailer Park case not be appealed to <br /> the State Supreme Court. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> • Aye: O'Connor, Springer, Emond, Crouse. <br /> Nay: Dougherty. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Crouse that an additional <br /> eight inch water line be laid for future hook up to the Lowry Grove Trailer <br /> Park, provided the property owner posts cash payment for the line based on <br /> the bid price .of water main extensions, County Highway #153 Improvement . <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Emond that the Village <br /> Engineer be directed to make such manhole adjustments in the Harstad Addition <br /> as are necessary and feasible and that the requesting property owner post <br /> cash escroei in the amount of the cost of the adjustment, including engineering <br /> costs. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Village Manager was directed to prepare a standard petition form for <br /> improvements and forward it to the Salvation Army for signature. <br /> The Council noted a protest of vending machine license fees and took no <br /> action to amend the fee Ordinance. <br /> The Village Manager was directed to secure costs of emergency multi -tone <br /> sirens for Civil Defense warnings. <br />
