• Pa ge 3 <br /> Several members of the Park Committee appeared with Architect Dave Bennett <br /> to discuss the proposed Park Shelter. Mr. Bennett stated that he had received <br /> an estimate of $21 ,153.00 for the building. He further stated that the 5% <br /> profit figure in the estimate was in his opinion too low and should be from <br /> 15% to 20/. It was agreed that the Village would extend the sewer and water <br /> lines from the Village and do all necessary site work. <br /> Councilman Emond moved and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the Architect be <br /> authorized to prepare final plans and specifications and that the Village <br /> Manager be authorized to advertise for bids for the Central Park Shelter <br /> building. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Springer, Dougherty, Crouse, Emond. <br /> Nay : None. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Nordell, representative of the Friestone Company appeared to discuss <br /> variance granted for the new Firestone Sales facility at Apache Plaza. It <br /> was pointed out to the Council that the minutes record a variance of 250 sq. <br /> feet being granted which was a reduction in the recommendation by the Planning <br /> Board. The matter was discussed with Mr. Nordell at length. The Council <br /> took no action on the matter. <br /> After discussion, Councilman Dougherty moved and seconded by Councilman <br /> Springer that the 3rd reading of Ordinance 661 be tabled to further discuss <br /> the final plat with the developers. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> •- Aye: Dougherty, Springer. <br /> Nay: Emond, O'Connor. <br /> Abstain: Crouse. <br /> Motion not carried. <br /> Motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Emond that Ordinance 66I <br /> be approved on 3rd and final reading. <br /> Voting on the motion. <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Emond. <br /> May : Dougherty, Springer. <br /> Abstain: Crouse. <br /> Motion not carried. <br />
