VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> • <br /> COUNCIL MEETING <br /> August 27, 1968 <br /> The regular meeting of the Village Council was called to order by the Mayor at <br /> 8:00 o'clock P. M. <br /> Present : O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Crouse, Emond <br /> Also Present : Village Attorney, Raymond Haik <br /> Village Manager, John Printon <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Springer that the min- <br /> utes of the meeting of August 13, 1968 be approved as submitted. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Dougherty and seconded by Councilman Emond that the min- <br /> utes of the special meeting of August 19, 1968 be approved as submitted. <br /> Mootion carried. <br /> -Mr. Robert Mesenbring presented the minutes of the Planning Roard meeting of <br /> August 20, 1968. The request for a 10' front yard variance to construct a <br /> • two car garage at 3421 Edwards St. N. E. was discussed. Motion by Councilman <br /> Dougherty and seconded by Councilman Crouse that the Planning Boards recomm- <br /> endation to deny the request be approved. <br /> Nllo!ion carried. <br /> A request for a proposed plat for the division of Lots 8 and 9, Block 3, <br /> Clark and Kings Garden Tract was discussed. No action was taken on the matter <br /> ping the submittal of a preliminary plat to the Planning Board. <br /> A Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the <br /> request for a 7' side yard variance at 3548 Harding St. N. E. for the con- <br /> struction of a two car garage be approved. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mrs. Keith Harstad appeared regarding the rezoning of Lot 3 and the N. 2 of <br /> Lot 4, Block 11, Moundsview Acres, 2nd Addition. The compatability of the <br /> zoning to the proposed park area was brought out by Mrs. Harstad. It was <br /> the Council 's feeling that the finalization of the park land acquisition <br /> should precede any consideration of rezoning. Motion by Councilman Dougherty <br /> and seconded by Councilman Emond that the request be denied for the rezoning <br /> of Lot 3 and the N. 2 of Lot 4, 9lock 11, Moundsview :acres, 2nd Addition from <br /> light industrial to multiple. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Dougherty, Springer, Crouse, Emond <br /> May: O'Connor <br /> Motion carried. <br />
