J C VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY COUNCIL MINUTES September 24, 1968 The regular meeting of the Village Council was called to order by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock p.m. Present: O'Connor, Dougherty, Crouse, Emond, Springer. Also Present: Raymond Haik, Village Attorney John Pri nton, Village Manager Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond that the minutes of the regular meeting of September 10, 1968 be approved as submitted. Motion carried. It was noted that the minutes of the Special Meeting of September 11, 1968 should indicate that the program take affect through June 30, 1969. Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the minutes of the special meeting of September 11, 1968 be approved as amended. Motion carried. :Ition ne Miedtke presented the Planning Boards minutes of September 17, 1968. by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the request for a 5 ft. front yard variance and a 2 ft. side yard variance for the construction of an attached garage at 3421 Edwards St. be denied. Motion carried. After discussion, motion by Councilman Springer and seconded by Councilman Crouse that a request for an 18' variance on the placement of a residence on Lot 7, Block 4, Harstad, 2nd Addition be approved. Motion carried. No action was taken on the Gordon Hedlund proposal . Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the request of Henry Jenniges to rezone a tract of land abutting Lowry avenue and East of the Kenzie property be denied. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the Planning Board be directed to hold zoning hearings on the total area South of Milson Street. Voting on the motion. Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Crouse. May: Emond. Motion carried.
