VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHOMY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> November 26, 1968 <br /> The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> The following were present at roll call : <br /> O'Connor, Springer, Dougherty, Emond, Crouse. <br /> Absent : None. <br /> Also Present: Village Attorney, Raymond Haik <br /> Village Manager, John Printon <br /> Motion by Councilman Emond and seconded by Councilman Springer that the minutes of <br /> the regular meeting of November 12, 1968 be approved as submitted. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The minutes of the Park Board meeting of November 12, 1968 were reviewed by the <br /> Council. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the placing <br /> of a temporary skating shelter at Emerald Park be tabled. <br /> • Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Crouse. <br /> Nay: Emond. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Dr. Jerry Harty presented the Planning Board Minutes of November 19, 1968 meeting. <br /> Action on the Zoning Hearing of Kenzie Terrace and Lowry Avenue was tabled to the <br /> next Planning Board meeting. <br /> A 54 unit apartment complex proposal adjacent to the St. Anthony Nursing Home was <br /> reviewed. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that action on <br /> the apartment development as proposed be tabled until a report is forthcoming from <br /> the Director of Public Safety re : the need for aerial equipment. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Emond that a variance be <br /> . granted for the remodeling of the Fashion Shop Sign as a hardship would exist if <br /> the present sign was not allowed to be re-used. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> -1- <br />
