The discussion prompted an inquiry from Councilman <br /> Crouse as to whether the Manager, as directed, had expressed the objection of the <br /> Council to the financing arrangements that are a condition to obtaining underground <br /> wiring conduit. Councilman Crouse noted that it would be helpful that when the <br /> Council directs that a letter be sent it should be promptly sent and a copy of <br /> the letter placed with the agenda items for the next meeting. <br /> Motion by Councilman Dougherty, seconded by Councilman Emond, to approve the <br /> permit application for installation of underground conduit requested by the <br /> Northern States Power Company on Anthony Lane. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Council reviewed the bills for contract payments, following which there was a <br /> motion by Mayor O'Connor, seconded by Councilman Crouse, that the payment set <br /> • forth in the certificate of the engineer to F. Morettini Construction Company for <br /> sanitary sewer and water improvement project 1969-2 in the amount of $16,117.00 <br /> be approved. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Levandowski, seconded by Councilman Crouse, that the payment <br /> set forth in the certificate of the engineer to Walbon Excavating Company for <br /> sanitary sewer, water and storm sewer improvement project 1969-1 in the amount <br /> of $21,055.50 be approved. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse, seconded by Councilman Levandowski, to table <br /> authorization of payment of the requests for $836.13 of additional costs for the <br /> County Ditch 2 improvement. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Manager was requested to inquire as to when, if any, cutoff will be made and <br /> that it was the understanding of the St. Anthony Village Council that the County <br /> Ditch 2 improvement project had been completed. <br /> Motion by Councilman Levandowski, seconded by Councilman Crouse, to approve the <br /> verified claims. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Mayor distributed a copy of a proposed cooperative fire agreement between the <br /> Village of St. Anthony and the City of Minneapolis. <br />
