VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> • COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> October 14, 1969 <br /> The meeting was called to order by the Mayor Pro Tem at 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> The following were present at roll call : Emond, Crouse, Levandowski , Dougherty <br /> Absent : O'Connor <br /> Also Present: Wayne Popham, Village Attorney <br /> John Printon, Village Manager <br /> Ice Comstock, Village Engineer <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski that the <br /> minutes of the regular meeting of September 23, 1969 be approved as submitted. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Councilman Crouse that the <br /> minutes of the Special Meeting of September 25, 1969 be amended to read "seconded <br /> by Councilman Crouse", as pertains to approval of the Hedlund-Wakiriak plat. <br /> • Motion carried. <br /> Councilman Crouse moved and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the minutes of <br /> the Human Relations Committee meeting of September 22, 1969 be approved. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Kenneth Solie, representing the St. Anthony JC's, appeared regarding the <br /> Village assuming the cost of printing a Village Handbook. After discussion, <br /> motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that tentative <br /> approval be given for an expenditure of not to exceed $500.00 for the printing of <br /> a Village Handbook for Village wide distribution and subject to edit by the <br /> Village Council before printing. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the matter <br /> of bridge inspection of the Great Northern Railroad bridge on St. Anthony Boule- <br /> vard, East of Silver Lake Road be referred to the Village attorney for recommend- <br /> ation as to enforcement provisions of the Statutes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> A notice of hearing before the Public Service Committee was discussed. Mr. Wayne <br /> Popham, explained to the Council that no order had been rendered on the request for <br /> a fare increase. <br /> ' Mayor O'Connor joined the meeting at 8:30 P.M. <br />
