-2- <br /> Motion <br /> 2-Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Councilman Crouse that a traffic <br /> study of Coolidge Street within the St. Anthony Shopping Center be referred to the <br /> Planning Board and the Director of Public Safety for a report to the Council within <br /> thirty days. <br /> Ice Comstock reviewed the status of the Hwy #8 storm sewer. After discussion, <br /> motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski that the Village <br /> engineer be authorized to secure larger prints of the storm sewer layout and present <br /> a computation as to Village share of construction costs. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Village engineer was authorized to arrange a meeting with the Minnesota High- <br /> way Department on October 20th, or 28th, to discuss the Highway #8 & 35 W projects. <br /> Mr. Beutel , Chairman Human Relations Committee, informed the Council that he would <br /> be out of the state for several months and felt he should tender his resignation. <br /> Motion by Mayor Pro Tem Emond and seconded by Councilman Crouse that Mr. Beutel 's <br /> resignation be accepted. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Beutel suggested that the Human Relations Budget be reviewed by his successor. <br /> Mr. Dougherty suggested that a certificate of appreciation be forwarded to Mr. <br /> • Beutel. The Council directed that a certificate of merit be presented to Mr. <br /> Reute 1. <br /> Mrs. Hinkel appeared regarding assessments on her property on Foss Road and Chand- <br /> ler Drive. She was informed that the matter was considered at the public hearing <br /> on October 7, 1969 and the assessment forwarded to the Ramsey County Auditor. She <br /> was also informed that she had ten days in which to file an objection in District <br /> Court. She was informed that the Council was certainly sympathetic to the assess- <br /> ment against her property but that the assessment procedure was consistant with <br /> past policies. <br /> After discussion, Councilman Crouse moved and seconded by Councilman Levandowski <br /> that Section 600, "The 1968 Code of Ordinance of the Village of St. Anthony" as <br /> amended by Ordinances 1968-1, 1968-2, 1968-3, 1968-4, 1968-5, 1968-6, 1968-7, 1968- <br /> 8, and 1968-9 is here by repealed and that the rules be waived and that Ordinance <br /> 1969-10 be approved on first reading. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the duly <br /> authorized licenses be approved as submitted. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the following <br /> certificates of the engineer be approved: <br /> a. Village engineering services-$369.96 <br /> b. Improvement 1969-1-$1,937. 11 <br /> c. Improvement 1968-4-$548.06 <br />
