ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> November 11 , 1969 <br /> The meeting was called to order by the Mayor Pro-Tem at 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> The following were present at roll call : Emond, Crouse, Levandowski <br /> Absent: O'Connor, Dougherty <br /> Also Present : Raymond Haik, Village Attorney <br /> John Printon, Village Manager <br /> Ice Comstock, Village Engineer <br /> It was noted that on Page 1 , minutes of October 28, 1969 as pertains to the <br /> division of the S. 12 ' of Lot 3, Block 7, Murray Heights Addition that Councilman <br /> Levandowski should be recorded as, "abstain". <br /> Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Councilman Crouse that the <br /> minutes of the regular meeting of October 28, 1969 be approved as amended. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The matter of the completion of the concrete paving contract in the St. Anthony <br /> Office Park was discussed. Village engineer, Ice Comstock, related to the Council <br /> • the events to date. Mr. Richard Gay explained to the Council the need for an <br /> access to the property to the Powers Regulator Building and to a proposed building <br /> on the south side of the development. The Council was informed that neither of <br /> the three contractors involved would accept responsibility for the delay which <br /> prevented the concrete paving to be constructed. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski that the con- <br /> tractors and developer involved in the improvements of the St. Anthony Office <br /> Park Addition negotiate a cost distribution for the construction of a temporary <br /> asphalt surface to provide access to the Powers Regulator Building and the T.K. <br /> Gray Building, and it is to be understood that the Village of St. Anthony will <br /> assume no part of the cost of the temporary roadway. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski that the <br /> Village Attorney and Manager meet with the developer and C.S. McCrossan to deter- <br /> mine who is responsible for the delay of the project, and report to the Council <br /> at the November 25th meeting. <br /> The adoption of a resolution participating in the sharing of costs for the Highway <br /> #8 Storm Sewer Improvement was tabled to the first meeting of the Council in Jan- <br /> uary. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski that a letter <br /> be forwarded to the Hennepin County Board opposing the removal of Village Deputy <br /> Assessors of Communities under 30,000 population unless all municipalities includ- <br /> ing the City of Minneapolis are included in the order. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
