-2- <br /> The <br /> 2-The resolution was duty seconded by Councilman Crouse. <br /> Voting on the resolution: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Crouse, Emond, Levandowski , Dougherty <br /> Nay: None <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> An amendment to the water rate ordinance to provide for necessary revenue to <br /> retire a $43,000.00 deficit in the 1953-1 Water Plant Improvement was discussed at <br /> length. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski that the Village <br /> Manager be directed to prepare the necessary amendment to the water rate ordinance <br /> for consideration at the December 9, 1969 meeting. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Dougherty, seconded by Councilman Crouse that Ordinance <br /> #1969-12, lin Ordinance Relating To /Abandoned Motor Vehicles, be approved at the <br /> first reading with section #3 to be deleted for second reading. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that bids as <br /> taken by Hennepin County for the supplying of two police patrol cars, per specific- <br /> ation in the amount of $2,508.79 each be approved. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Councilman Crouse that the install- <br /> ation of the following street lights be approved: <br /> 1. St. Anthony Blvd. at Coolidge Street, Wilson Street, Roosevelt Street <br /> 2. Chelmsford & Edgemere <br /> 3. 34th Avenue N.E., Skycroft Circle & Croft Drive. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski that the Village <br /> Manager be authorized to take bids for the installation of a traffic control <br /> signal in front of the Fire Station. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Village Manager was directed to contact other communities on rodent controls. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor O 'Connor that Harold H. Fuhrman, <br /> Secretary of National Suburban League, be assigned the proxy for the casting of a <br /> • ballot in the name of G.W.
