VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> • July 28, 1970 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor Miedtke at 8:05 o'clock P.M. <br /> The following were present at roll call : Crouse, Emond, Miedtke, Levandowski, <br /> Englund. <br /> Absent : None <br /> Also Present: Village Attorney, Larry Vickrey <br /> Village Manager, John R. Printon <br /> The following corrections on the minutes of the July 14, 1970 meeting were noted: <br /> On Page 2 at the bottom of the page the motion by Councilman Crouse regarding a <br /> letter to Popham, etc. should have included "commending them for their excellence <br /> in performance and thanking them". <br /> On page 3 in the second paragraph from the bottom it should have been "Mrs. Chas. <br /> Herman" rather than "Mr. Chas. Herman". <br /> Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Councilman Crouse to approve the <br /> minutes of the July 14, 1970 meeting as corrected. <br /> • Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Thomas Ondrey presented the minutes of the July 27, 1970 meeting of the Plann- <br /> ing ¢oard. <br /> xotion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Englund to deny the request <br /> of the Conoco Company for a larger sign at their station at 37th Avenue N. E. and <br /> Silver Lake Road. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Crouse, Emond, Miedtke, Englund <br /> Nay: Levandowski <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski to direct the <br /> Planning Board to review the sign ordinance and to make a study of non-conforming <br /> signs, such as Pylon, and revise the sign ordinance accordingly and to report back <br /> to the Council within 60 days, September 22, 1970. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Englund to follow the <br /> recommendation of the Planning Board and not allow the request of Mr. Richard Dobis <br /> for the proposed retaining wall at 3217 32nd Avenue N.E. <br /> . Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski directing the <br /> Village Manager to check with Skelly Oil Company regarding the possiblity of their <br /> 11 <br />
