• -2- <br /> building <br /> 2-building a privacy fence on the rear of their property. <br /> • Motion carried. <br /> The Mayor ruled that action on the roadway onto Silver Latta and the parking spaces <br /> on the 150 foot strip be tabled. <br /> Councilman Englund introduced Resolution 70-023 and moved its adoption. <br /> RESOLUTION 70-023 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PLAT OF <br /> CHRISTENSEN ADDITION <br /> The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Crouse. <br /> Voting on the resolution. <br /> Aye: Crouse, Emond, Miedtke, Levandowski , Englund <br /> Nay: None <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> Mr. Dick Gay from Gay Realty Company, who is developing the St. Anthony Office Park, <br /> appeared requesting permission for a variance in signs to be used on their building. <br /> • Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski approving the <br /> issuance of a permit to Gay Realty Company for a variance in signs,allowing two <br /> 4 x 16 signs for a period of 6 months and one 4 x 16 sign for a period of 18 months, <br /> waiving the requirements of the Village Ordinances, Section 1015.03, Subdivision 1, <br /> part 1 and Subdivision 3, parts 9A and 9B; because it would put a hardship on the <br /> real estate company. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> A representative from Marshall Screw Products appeared requesting a vacation or <br /> variance of the easement on their property along the railroad right of way. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond to refer this matter <br /> to the Village Attorney and for him to give us a decision on how we should proceed <br /> to waive this easement and to bring it back to the Council within two weeks. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski that we do not <br /> pay the statement for $615.00 for dues from the League of Minnesota Municipalities <br /> and that we drop from membership in the League. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Crouse, Levandowski, Englund <br /> • Nay: Emond, Miedtke <br /> Motion carried. <br />
