VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY • COUNCIL MINUTES AUGUST 25, 1970 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Miedtke at 8:00 o'clock P.M. The following were present at roll call : Crouse, Emond, Miedtke, Levandowski, Englund. Absent: None Also Present: Village Attorney, Larry Vickrey Village Manager, John R. Printon The followinq correction was noted on the minutes of the August 11, 1970 meeting: On page 2 the motion by Mayor Miedtke should read sewerage and water connect- ions "to" rather than %n" the property of the Salvation Army. Motion by Councilman Englund and seconded by Councilman Crouse to approve the minutes of the August 11, 1970 meeting as corrected. Motion carried. • Mr. Richard Carlson presented the minutes of the August 18, 1970 meeting of the Planning Board. Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Councilman Crouse to follow the recommendation of the Planning Board and to deny the request of Donald Cottle at 2917 Silver Lane N.E. to have a parking area on right of way property to the west of his home. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski to affirm the action recommended by the Planning Board and to deny the request of Mr. Kallus of 3201 Silver Lake Road to divide his property. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Councilman Englund to follow the recommendation of the Planning Board and to deny the request of David Bordwell at 3012 31st Avenue N.E. for an addition to his house which would require a 6 foot variance. Motion carried. Mr. John Remus presented the minutes of the Human Relations Advisory Committee meeting of August 240 1970 and described in more detail the items in their budget requests. • Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski to accept the explanation and numbers for the budget requests from the Human Relations Advisory Committee and to review these as the Council works on the budget. Motion carried.
