VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> NCOUNCIL MINUTES <br /> September 229 1970 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor Miedtke at 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> The following were present at roll call : Crouse, Emond, Miedtke, Levandowski, <br /> Englund. <br /> Absent: None <br /> Also Present: Village Attorney, Larry Vickrey <br /> Village Manager, John R. Printon <br /> The following corrections on the minutes of the September 8, 1970 meeting were <br /> noted: <br /> On Page 1 in the motion by Councilman Crouse to waive the second reading of <br /> Ordinance 1970-11, it should have been "second oral reading". <br /> On Page 2 in the second paragraph, it should be Councilman Crouse disagreed with <br /> the "statement" rather than "possibility". <br /> On Page 2 at the bottom of the page in the motion by Councilman Crouse authorizing <br /> the Village Manager to go to the Public Works convention, it should be "Sept- <br /> ember" instead of "November". <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond to approve the <br /> minutes of the September 8, 1970 meeting as corrected. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Englund and seconded by Councilman Crouse to approve the <br /> minutes of the special meeting of September 15, 1970 as presented. <br /> A public hearing regarding the vacation of an utility easement was declared open. <br /> A representative from Marshall Screw Products spoke in favor of the easement. <br /> Since there wasn't anyone else wishing to speak on this, the public hearing was <br /> declared closed. <br /> Councilman Crouse introduced Resolution 70-028 and moved its adoption. <br /> RESOLUTION #70-028 <br /> A RESOLUTION FOR THE VACATION OF AN <br /> UTILITY EASEMENT. <br /> The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Levandowski. <br /> Voting on the resolution: <br /> Aye: Crouse, Emond, Levandowski, Englund <br /> Nay: Miedtke <br />
