VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY COUNCIL MINUTES October 13, 1970 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Miedtke at 8:00 o'clock P.M. in the Village High School Auditorium. The following students representing the Village High School Student Council were present at roll call : Phil Carruthers, Steve Kessel , Jan Burford, Jay Nickerson, Mark Hoagberg, Jim Voytovich. The following were present at roll call : Miedtke, Crouse, Englund, Levandowski, Emond. Absent : None Also Present : Village Attorney, Larry Vickrey Village Manager, John, R. Printon The following corrections on the minutes of the September 29, 1970 Special Meeting were noted: On page 1 toward the bottom in the motion by Councilman Crouse regarding Storm Sewer Improvement 1970-1, the phrase "and solicitation of bids" should be deleted from the motion. On page 2 in the motion by Councilman Crouse regarding working with the School Board, "direct the Village Manager to" should be inserted after "officially" in the first line of the motion. Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond to approve the minutes of the September 29, 1970 meeting as corrected. Motion carried. The following corrections on the minutes of the September 22, 1970 meeting were noted: On page 2 in the motion by Councilman Crouse approving the request of Minnesota Fabrics, the phrase 'bf the door" should be added at the very end of the motion. On page 4 toward the bottom in the motion by Councilman Crouse regarding the donation from the United Fund, "for suburban recreation activities" should be added after "donation" in the second line. Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski to approve the minutes of the September 22, 1970 meeting as corrected. Motion carried. John Remus presented the minutes of the September 28, 1970, Human Relations Advisory Committee meeting and talked briefly on the projects the Committee is working on.
