• -2- <br /> Motion <br /> 2-Motion as amended carried. <br /> Councilman Crouse stated that he voted against it because he felt the neighbors <br /> -had�not had a chance to comment on this. <br /> Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Councilman Crouse to deny the re- <br /> quest of Don Zebro of 4017 Penrod Lane N.E. for a 20 foot addition to the rear of <br /> his two-car garage because of a lack of information on this proposed addition. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Englund to confirm the <br /> action of the Planning Board and deny the request of John Wakiriak to rezone the <br /> Fest 2 of Lot 10 and all of Lot 9, Block 6, Mounds View Acres, 2nd Addition. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski to table action <br /> on the request of Happy's Potato Chips, Inc. to replat Lot 1, Block 9, Mounds View <br /> Acres, 2nd Addition, until the next meeting for the purpose of getting more inform- <br /> ation on this. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Englund and seconded by Councilman Crouse to uphold the action <br /> • of the Planning Board and deny the request to paint a sign on the north and west <br /> walls of the G & K building, identifying the St. Anthony Shopping Center. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond to concur with the <br /> action taken by the Planning Board in tabling action on the Industrial Credit sign. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> It was requested that a notice be put in the Sun Newspaper informing the residents <br /> that at the November 17, 1970 meeting of the Planning Board, they will be reviewing <br /> the sign ordinance. <br /> A representative from the Northgate Motel appeared requesting permission to relocate <br /> their motel sign. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Englund granting the North- <br /> 3ate Motel permission to move their 'blinking" motel sign as requested. <br /> 'tion carried. <br /> Mr. Youngdale appeared for Standard Oil Company regarding their remodelling plans <br /> for their station at 37th Avenue N.E. and Silver Lake Road. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond to close the public <br /> hearing on rezoning of the Standard Oil Company property at 37th Avenue N.E. and <br /> Silver Lake Road and leave it as it is presently zoned based on the letter from <br /> Standard Oil Company stating their remodelling plans. <br /> :lotion carried. <br />
