-3- <br /> Mike Carroll appeared requesting that the Village fix their driveway as was dis- <br /> cussed at a previous Council meeting in October 1969. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor Miedtke that we reaffirm the <br /> intent of the Council at the October, 1969 meeting and that the Village fix the <br /> second driveway at the Mike Carroll residence with blacktop from the service road <br /> to the existing concrete in accordance with the Village Engineer's recommendations. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Crouse, Miedtke, Levandowski , Englund <br /> Nay: Fmond <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. ^oscoe Smith appeared requesting permission for an access to 39th Avenue N.E. <br /> He was referred to the owner of the property involved to get this permission. <br /> Motion by Mayor Miedtke and seconded by Councilman Emond to approve the 2nd reading <br /> of Ordinance 1970-15 and that it be adopted. <br /> ORDINA14CE 1970-15 <br /> AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE SAN- <br /> ITARY STORAGE AND COLLECTION OF WASTE <br /> MATTER, <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Englund to amend the motion <br /> substituting for Section 6 the paragraph identified as Item 2, Section 6 from the <br /> first drafting of the Ordinance designating that all garbage containers, etc. be <br /> placed at the front lot line of the premises on the day of pickup only and that <br /> they be returned to their regular place of storage not later than 8:00 P.M. on the <br /> same day. <br /> The Village Attorney again read Ordinance 1970-15 with the suggested change. <br /> Voting on the amendment: <br /> Aye: Crouse, Levandowski, Englund <br /> Nay: Emond, Miedtke <br /> Amendment carried. <br /> Voting on the motion as amended: <br /> Aye: Crouse, Levandowski, Englund <br /> Nay : Emond, Miedtke <br /> . Motion as amended carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Councilman Crouse directing the <br /> Village Manager to write letters to all licensed garbage haulers in the Village <br /> informing thein that the 3rd reading of the garbage ordinance will take place at <br />
