Those present voiced opposition to the Ordinance as read. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Ayes Crouse <br /> May: Emond, Miedtke, Levandowski, Englund <br /> Motion not carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Emond and seconded by Councilman Levandowski to adopt <br /> Ordinance 1970-15. <br /> ORDINANCE 1970-15 <br /> AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO SEWER RENTAL <br /> • RATES, AMENDING SECTION 410.01 OF THE <br /> 1968 CODE OF ORDINANCES <br /> The Village Attorney read Ordinance 1970-15. <br /> There was some discussion and questions asked regarding this Ordinance by residents <br /> present as well as by the Council. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski to table action <br /> on this Ordinance until the next meeting and to refer it back to the Village Man- <br /> ager for further study and for him to report back on it at the November 24th meet- <br /> ing. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Merle Ourbahn appeared regarding a drainage problem in the vicinity of his home <br /> and other homes on 36th Avenue between Chelmsford and Highcrest. <br /> Motion by Councilman Englund and seconded by Councilman .Emond to direct the <br /> Village Engineer to institute a cost survey and prepare a feasibility report on <br /> this drainage problem. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Henry Zeug, plumbing and heating inspector for the Village, appeared and discussed <br /> • the possibility of the Council adopting the State Plumbing Code. He stated that <br /> we have been following the State Code but that we have never adopted it. Action <br /> on this was tabled until the next meeting so that the Council would have a chance <br /> to study the Code. Mr. Zeug was directed to outline the principal enforcement <br /> provisions of the Code. <br />
