-4- <br /> The <br /> 4-The Public Safety Director was instructed to make a further study of the traffic <br /> problem on that section of Coolidge Street N, E.. located in the St. Anthony Shopping <br /> Center and to report back to the Council with his recommendations. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond directing the Village <br /> Attorney to draft an ordinance for traffic controls in the Village including stop <br /> signs, parking signs and speed limits and also to work with the Public Safety <br /> Director and incorporate the suggestions and recommendations he made in his report <br /> to the Council. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Village Manager was directed to inform the St. Anthony VFW that no permit is <br /> required from the Village for them to hold an auction at Apache Plaza. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski that the special <br /> fund coming back to the Village from the settlement of the Firemen's Relief Assoc- <br /> iation lawsuit be applied on the purchase of a new pumper' for the Fire Department <br /> and that the Village Manager proceed to get specifications and bids for same on <br /> recommendations from the Public Safety Director. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Public Safety Director was instructed to study parking problems in the St. <br /> Anthony Shopping Center as well as Apache Plaza and to consider the possibility <br /> of designating the fire lanes, etc. in these areas. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond to grant a heating <br /> license to the Bowler Company as"r,equested. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Emond and seconded by Councilman Englund to pay the Certificates <br /> of the Engineer for Improvement 1970-1 Storm Sewer Equinox Apartments in the amount <br /> of $595.01 and for Street Improvement 1968-4 in the amount of $1,231.99. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Englund and seconded by Councilman Emond to approve the pay- <br /> ment of the statement from Dorsey, Marquart, Windhorst, West and Halladay in the <br /> amount of $821.62 for services for the month of October, 1970. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Councilman Crouse to pay the <br /> statement from Hall, Smith, Juster, Feikema and Haskvitz in the amount of $166.25 <br /> for services for the last part of October and the first part of November, 1970. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> . Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond to pay the verified <br /> claims. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
