VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> December 8, 1970 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor Miedtke at 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> The following were present at roll call : Crouse, Emond, Miedtke, Levandowski, <br /> Englund. <br /> Absent: None <br /> Also Present: Village Attorney, Larry Vickrey <br /> Village Manager, John R. Printon <br /> The following corrections on the minutes of the November 24, 1970 meeting were <br /> noted: <br /> On page 3 in the paragraph regarding the heating, plumbing and electrical codes, <br /> it should be "get them to the Village Attorney for preparation of an ordinance" <br /> rather than "for his review and approval". <br /> Also on page 3 in the last paragraph, it should be "no parking" signs and 150 foot <br /> strip south from 37th Avenue N.E. ' <br /> On page 4 in the motion by Councilman Crouse regarding the purchase of a new pump- <br /> er, it should be "advertise for bids" rather than "get bids". <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond to approve the <br /> minutes of the November 24, 1970 meeting as corrected. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> John Remus presented the -minutes of the Human Relations Advisory Committee <br /> meeting of November 23, 1970. <br /> It was decided to table action on the draft of the Community Profile Brochure <br /> until the December 22, 1970 meeting to give the Council more time to read it. <br /> Mr. Remus discussed reasons for an amendment to Resolution 68-040 establishing <br /> the Human Relations Advisory Committee and presented a proposed amendment. <br /> Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Councilman Crouse to table <br /> action on the proposed amendment to Resolution 68-040 regarding the Human <br /> Relations Advisory Committee and also on the Reorganizational By-Laws and <br /> Procedural Guidelines for the Committee until the second meeting in January, 1971. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Councilman Emond wanted it noted in the minutes that he is in favor of the pro- <br /> posed amendment to Ordinance 68-040. <br /> Motion by Councilman Emond and seconded by Councilman Crouse to waive the second <br /> • and third readings of Ordinance 1970-7 and that it be adopted. <br />
