-5- <br /> In granting this conditional use permit the Council finds that: <br /> • a. it will not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to <br /> other land or improvements in the neighborhood in which the parcel <br /> of land is located, <br /> b. will not impair an adequate supply of light and air to adjacent <br /> property, <br /> C. will not substantially increase the congestion of public streets, <br /> d. will not increase the danger of fire or endanger the public health or <br /> safety and <br /> e. will not substantially diminsh or lessen property values within the <br /> neighborhood. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Sauer, Sundland, Miedtke, Stauffer <br /> Nay: Haik <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to table for <br /> two weeks action on the various assessment procedures presented for their <br /> consideration by Mr. Fornell. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> In the discussion of the data supplied by Mr. Dulgar regarding the City's <br /> possible use of Parkview Flementary School for a city hall, it was reported <br /> that the Moundsview School District was considering their needs for a school <br /> building and Independent School District §282 was near a decision on the use <br /> of Parkview. Councilman Sauer expressed his reluctance to pay out $1200 for <br /> a study of a building which the City does not own and Councilman Haik felt <br /> the figures for remodelling the City Hall should be updated. Mayor Miedtke <br /> expressed the opinion that delaying a decision until January or February <br /> might prevent the City having a building to house its new fire truck when it <br /> arrived in the spring. <br /> Motion by Mayor Miedtke, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to accept the <br /> architect's proposal to make a study to advise the Council on the cost of <br /> remodelling the Parkview School building for a city hall at an hourly rate <br /> with the total cost not to exceed that cost provided by the architect. <br /> The following motion was made before a vote was taken on the previous motion: <br /> Motion by Councilman Stauffer, seconded by Councilman Sauer to table action <br /> on the architect's study until the next Council meeting. <br /> Voting on the motion to table: <br /> Aye: Haik, Sauer, Sundland, Stauffer <br /> Nay: Miedtke <br /> Motion carried. <br /> • Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Mayor Miedtke to grant all licenses <br /> listed in the November 12, 1974 agenda. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
