CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> • COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> November 2.6, 1974 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor Miedtke at 7:36 P.M. <br /> The following were present for roll call: Sauer, Sundland, Miedtke, Stauffer. <br /> Absent: Haik <br /> Also present: Jerry Dulgar, City Manager <br /> Larry Vickrey, City Attorney <br /> Jim Fornell, Adm. Asst. <br /> Harry Lekson <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to approve the <br /> minutes of the November 12, 1974 Council meeting. <br /> Councilman Haik arrived at 7:37 P.M. and voted on the motion. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Sauer to adopt Resolution <br /> #74-036. <br /> RESOLUTION 74-036 <br /> A RFSOLUTION MODIFYING THE 1974 BUDGFT <br /> Motion carried. <br /> ,Daring the discussion of updating the resolution regarding parking regulations, <br /> Mr. Dulgar explained that all previous resolutions dealing with these regulat- <br /> ions would be incorporated into a new resolution. He also gave the Police <br /> Department recommendations for restricting parking on Foss Road and Macalaster <br /> Drive in front of apartment buildings. Councilman Sauer expressed his concern <br /> that there might not be parking afforded to visitors to the area. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilman Haik that parking not be <br /> allowed on the Fast side of Macalaster Drive between the railroad tracks and <br /> 39th Avenue N.E. but that two 15 minute loading stalls be provided in front of <br /> each apartment building on these streets. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilman Stauffer that the present <br /> parking restrictions on Fdwards S',:. froiu 34 to 33rd Avenue N.F. be eliminated <br /> because the greenhouse operation at that location no longer required such <br /> signage. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> • There followed a discussion of how the parking on Stinson Boulevard interferred <br /> with the traffic flow near the Apache Medical Center as well as the request <br /> from Columbia Heights that the City of St. Anthony restrict parking on its side <br /> of the boulevard. <br />
