ANTHONY <br /> COUNC I L i1 I.MUTES <br /> September 23, 1975 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor Miedtke at 7:30 P.A. <br /> Present for roll call : Sauer, Sundland, iliedtke, Stauffer and Haik. <br /> Also present: Jerry Dulgar, City Manager <br /> Larry Uirkrey, City Attorney <br /> Jim Forrell , Adm. Asst. <br /> I .C. Comstock, City Engineer <br /> The following corrections were made to the minutes of the September 9, 1^75 <br /> meeting: <br /> Page 1 , para. 5: Substitute ''8 ft.'' for "10 ft.'' parking bays <br /> Page 2, para. 1 : Eliminate the word "including" to read "to add "No Trucks". <br /> Page 3, last paragraph: Add "and/or a Si 'ver Lane resident" to "appointment <br /> of Councilman Haik. <br /> Page 4, para. 7: The motion carried unanimously. <br /> Page 5-Add "and to waive the fees for the same' . <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilnan Haik to approve the September <br /> 9th as corrected. <br /> • Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The minutes of the August 19, 1975 Human Relations Committee meeting were dis- <br /> cussed and Mr. Dulgar was to check on the implementation of the appointm--nt of <br /> Mrs. Don Makowske to the committee. The Manager then told the Council there was <br /> a possibility of a graduate student working part time through the St. Anthony <br /> High School as a community youth representative at no cost. <br /> The minutes were directed filed. <br /> Mr. George Marks presented the recommendations of the Planning Board as con- <br /> tained in the minutes of their September 16, 1975 meeting. <br /> I/Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to fallow the <br /> Board's recommendations and direct a Public Nearing be held at the Board's <br /> October 21st meeting on the request of Mr. & Mrs. !'lm. Tedlund for a side yard <br /> variance to permit the proposed addition to their home at 3114 Rankin Road. <br /> \ Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Y <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland,seconded by Councilman Sauer to accept the Board's <br /> recommendation and direct a Public Hearing be held at the Board's October 21st <br /> meeting on the request from 11r. Ray Sopcinski that he be granted a side yard <br /> variance in order to add a garage to his residence at 2524 St. Anthony Road. <br /> • Motion carried unanimously. <br /> During the discussion of Mr. Dick Ernst 's modifications of his proposal for <br /> j erecting two buildings on the property between American Monarch 's building and <br />
