Motion carried unanimously. Mrs. Vincenzo, proprietor of the new Italian food restaurant in the St. Anthony Sopping Center appeared to request that the restaurant be allowed to ssrve wire with meals to accomodate the requests she reported receiving from custcmers for such service. Mr. Dulgar reported that a similar request had been made by Mrs. Ruth Anderson for the Northgate Restaurant. Motion by Mayor Miedtke, seconded by Councilman Sundland to request the Manager work with the City Attorney to prepare for Council consideration on January 13th an ordinance establishing wine licenses for the City whi.,.h could be granted to eating places seating 50 or more persons with such licenses to be granted init°ally cri,.,a one year's trial basis. The Manager was also requested to recommend the fee he felt would be justified for such a license. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Thomas Rohnar of the St. Anthony Republican Committee requested clarifica- tion of the City's policy regarding the use of municipal buildings for political caucuses and official meetings. Motion by Councilman Haik, seconded by Councilman Sauer to amend Section 8 of the "Building Use Rules" which are part of the City's policy governing "Community Use of Village Facilities" to permit the use of municipal buildings for partisan political meetings or activities. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Councilman Stauffer, seconded by Councilman Sauer to adopt Resolution 75-046. RESOLUTION 75-046 A RESOLUTION APPROVING ST. ANTHONY'S JOINING JOINT COOPERATION AGREEMENT REGARDING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974 Motion carried unanimously. The November 28th letter from Senator Hubert Humphrey recording Senate Bill 2008 was noted and filed. No further action was taken regarding designation of right turn lanes at the intersections of 29th and 33rd avenues with Silver Lake Road after consider- ation was given to the objections against the proposal from Hennepin County. Mayor Miedtke then commented on the State Auditor's report on Hennepin County's collection of court users fees and said the report indicated that payments of approximately $13,050 in fees were illegally charged to the City by the county since 1971 .
