Mr. Dulgar reported that a similar request had <br /> been made by Mrs. Ruth Anderson for the Northgate Restaurant. <br /> Motion by Mayor Miedtke, seconded by Councilman Sundland to request the <br /> Manager work with the City Attorney to prepare for Council consideration on <br /> January 13th an ordinance establishing wine licenses for the City whi.,.h could <br /> be granted to eating places seating 50 or more persons with such licenses to be <br /> granted init°ally cri,.,a one year's trial basis. The Manager was also requested <br /> to recommend the fee he felt would be justified for such a license. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Thomas Rohnar of the St. Anthony Republican Committee requested clarifica- <br /> tion of the City's policy regarding the use of municipal buildings for political <br /> caucuses and official meetings. <br /> Motion by Councilman Haik, seconded by Councilman Sauer to amend Section 8 <br /> of the "Building Use Rules" which are part of the City's policy governing <br /> "Community Use of Village Facilities" to permit the use of municipal buildings <br /> for partisan political meetings or activities. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Stauffer, seconded by Councilman Sauer to adopt <br /> Resolution 75-046. <br /> RESOLUTION 75-046 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING ST. ANTHONY'S JOINING <br /> JOINT COOPERATION AGREEMENT REGARDING COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974 <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The November 28th letter from Senator Hubert Humphrey recording Senate Bill <br /> 2008 was noted and filed. <br /> No further action was taken regarding designation of right turn lanes at the <br /> intersections of 29th and 33rd avenues with Silver Lake Road after consider- <br /> ation was given to the objections against the proposal from Hennepin County. <br /> Mayor Miedtke then commented on the State Auditor's report on Hennepin <br /> County's collection of court users fees and said the report indicated that <br /> payments of approximately $13,050 in fees were illegally charged to the City <br /> by the county since 1971 . <br />
