ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> August 23, 1977 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor Miedtke at 7 : 31 P.M. <br /> Present for roll call : Sundland, Haik , Miedtke and Sauer . <br /> Absent : Stauffer <br /> Also present: Jim Fornell , Acting City Manager <br /> William Soth, City Attorney <br /> :Motion by Councilman Sundland and seconded by Councilman Sauer to <br /> approve the minutes for the August 9 , 1977 Council meeting as presented. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> • Jerr ° Ccwan presented the recommendations and actions taken as reported <br /> in the Planning Board minutes of their meeting August 16 , 1977 . <br /> of the conditions which the Board had set for recommending ap- <br /> re of the building permit which will allow a union hall to be built <br /> fcr International Union of Operating Engineers , Local 49 , in the <br /> St . -,.nthony Office Park. <br /> Fred Dereschuk , representing the 49 ' ers , presented the letter of agree- <br /> ment ,rom Goodall Rubber that the union could use 36 parking spaces in <br /> their parking lot should need arise for more off site parking space than <br /> prc�--_czed on the local ' s property. He and Mark Tritschler, project <br /> en(,i_nee - for Rauenhorst Corporation, discussed the site plans for the <br /> ' ui_1c? lnrT and extended an invitation to the Council to attend the ground- <br /> bre :J:i n ceremonies the next day. <br /> �1ot1o:z by Councilman Sauer and seconded by Councilman Haik to grant a <br /> building permit to Local No. 49 to erect the building they proposed on <br /> Lot Block 1, St. Anthony Office Park Addition, subject to the same con- <br /> ditions as set by the Planning Board August 16 , 1977 . <br /> lotion carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Cowan reported the recommendations of the Board regarding the Com- <br /> munity Development funds which had been designated for a planning study <br /> of tn:e St .
