CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> August 14 , 1979 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor Haik at 7: 30 p.m. <br /> Present for roll call: Letourneau, Ranallo, Haik, Sundland and Sauer . <br /> Also present: Jim Fornell, City Manager; Ron Berg, Administrative <br /> Assistant. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to <br /> approve as submitted the minutes for the July 23, 1979 Special Meeting <br /> regarding possible continuation of the City' s use of the Parkview <br /> school building for city offices . <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The following corrections were made to the minutes for the Council <br /> meeting held July 24 , 1979: <br /> Page 3, para. 3: Substitute "for the purpose of soliciting <br /> support of a program addressed to solving <br /> the aforementioned problems" for "for the <br /> means of soliciting ideas or possible ways <br /> of reporting to the police the aformentioned <br /> problems" . <br /> Page 3, para. 5 : The City Manager was directed to obtain <br /> from the comprehensive planner or engineer. . . <br /> "an estimate of the costs of a study on what <br /> actions are to be taken" . . . to secure. . . <br /> Page 4 , para. 2 : Substitute "parking in relations to seating <br /> capacity" for "seating capacity" . <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer and seconded by Councilman Letourneau to <br /> approve the minutes as corrected for the Council meeting held July <br /> 24 , 1979 . <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The minutes of the July 24 , 1979 Council interview and selection of <br /> Dick Enrooth to serve as a member of the Planning Board were approved <br /> as submitted. <br /> Alan Kaeding, newly elected Chairman of the Cable T.V. Advisory Committee, <br /> discussed the minutes for that body ' s organizational meeting August 11 . <br /> He said the matter of whether one member's employment by a T.V. station <br /> constitutes a conflict of interest has been referred to the City Attorney <br /> and further action by the Board awaits that decision as well as pro- <br /> vision of the guideline packet on the needs assessment for St. Anthony <br /> 10 and the naming of other communities ' representatives to work on a <br /> joint franchise. The Mayor told Mr. Kaeding the Council was very <br /> grateful for the time and interest members had given to serving on <br />
