Sopcinski told the Council of the Board' s reluctance to encourage
the development of the Blanske property on 39th Avenue N.E. and
Sunset Lane for a mini storage facility even though it is zoned
"light industrial" because such usage will probably be inconsistent
with that recommended in the Comprehensive Plan and the building,
as proposed, seemed toxo encompassing for the site.
Mr. Blanske had left the meeting prior to this consideration and
although the Board 's objections to the proposal were noted, the
Council felt further action unnecessary__ The wholehearted approval
of-the Board for the building plans presented for a speculative
office building in the St. Anthony Office Park was then reported by
the Board representative.
