-2- <br /> RESOLUTION 79-068 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1979 TAX <br /> LEVY, COLLECTIBLE IN 1980 AND THE 1980 CITY BUDGET <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer and seconded by Councilman Sundland to <br /> adopt the resolution which certifies for collection with the taxes <br /> payable in 1980 the unpaid amounts due for chargeable municipal <br /> services against the properties listed. <br /> RESOLUTION 79-069 <br /> A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING UNPAID STATE- <br /> MENTS TO HENNEPIN COUNTY FOR COLLECTION <br /> Motion, carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer and seconded by Councilman Sundland to <br /> adopt the resolution which modifies the 1979 budget to allow the <br /> outstanding checks to be cancelled and transferred to the General <br /> Fund. <br /> RESOLUTION 79-070 <br /> A RESOLUTION MODIFYING THE 1979 BUDGET <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland and seconded by Councilman Letourneau <br /> to adopt the resolution which modifies the 1979 budget to allow the <br /> transfer of funds to cover payments for overtime and sick leave fill- <br /> ins for the Police Department in the amount of $4 , 500, as justified <br /> by the Police Chief in his October 4 memorandum. <br /> RESOLUTION 79-071 <br /> A RESOLUTION MODIFYING THE 1979 BUDGET <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Because of a possible conflict of dates for the regional meeting of <br /> the League of Minnesota Cities and the candidates forum sponsored by <br /> the League of Women Voters, no reservations were made for the LMC <br /> conference October 25. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland and seconded by Councilman Letourneau <br /> to ratify the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities ' choices of <br /> Fred Hanus and Dorothy Hokr to serve on the Hennepin County Criminal <br /> Justice Coordinating Council. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Background information on the possible senior housing for the vacant <br /> • lot between the Legion Post and the G & G Body Shop on Kenzie Terrace <br /> had been provided by Mr. Fornell in his memorandum of October 4 , and <br /> he reported information received after that date now indicated the <br />
