1 Council to Meet with St Anthony Shopping Center Owners' <br /> • 2 Representative <br /> 3 Joe DiSanto had indicated a desire to meet with the Council late in <br /> 4 the afternoon, August 1st, to get their feedback on the owners' plans <br /> 5 for the center. Sundland reiterated that he would only be interested <br /> 6 in hearing about a definite plan to upgrade the center, but agreed <br /> 7 this would be an opportunity to meet face to face with Mr. DiSanto <br /> 8 and let him know what the City thought should be done to improve the <br /> 9 center. <br /> 10 Plans and Specifications for Foss Road Lift Station Should be Ready <br /> 11 for Council Aporoval in August <br /> 12 Childs reported the above would be available for either the August <br /> 13 9th or 23rd Council meeting. <br /> 14 Childs Expects Request for More Funding From Northern Mayors <br /> 15 Association <br /> 16 The City Manager indicated the above was what he anticipated to <br /> 17 happen as part of the City's 1989 budget process. <br /> 18 NKA BUSINESS <br /> 19 Motion by Marks, seconded by Makowske to adopt the resolution which <br /> 20 authorizes execution of the joint cooperation agreement with Ramsey <br /> • 21 County regarding the C.D.B.G. program. <br /> 22 RESOLUTION 88-027 <br /> 23 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER <br /> 24 TO EXECUTE THE JOINT COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> 25 THE CITY AND RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> 26 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 27 RCM REPORT ON STORM AND SANITARY SEWER STUDIES FOR SOUTH END <br /> 28 Engineers Report Little City Can Do to Prevent Future Flooding <br /> 29 Without Requiring Disconnection of Drain Tiles from Sanitary Sewer <br /> 30 S s e <br /> 31 The above was the main thrust of the Rieke-Carroll-Muller Associates <br /> 32 reports which had been distributed to Councilmembers prior to the <br /> 33 meeting. <br /> 34 Dale Nolen and Bob Robertson, RCM engineers, were present to answer <br /> 35 Council questions related to the slide presentation. Anne D. <br /> 36 Grassman1 2608 Murray Avenue N.E. , was the only resident in <br /> 37 attendance to hear results of the study, particularly as it related <br /> 38 to her own street. <br /> • 11 <br />
