He
viewed the problem as a temporary one which was associated with
increased water usage during the summer months which always resolved
itself come fall.
Sundland indicated he perceived the survey which he had requested
had not been a non-productive exercise, because it provided the
Councilmembers with information they might not have otherwise had on
how the system works. He also said he personally believed in a year like
this one all communities should probably be putting more restrictions
on sprinkling so as not to lower the aquifer any farther than
absolutely necessary.
There was wholehearted support of Mr. Hamer's recommendations on the
matter. Mr. Hamer's survey will be kept at City Hall for review by
any interested parties.
Makowske Issues Invitation to Attend RCLLG Picnic and Tour of Como
Park, July 20th
The Councilmember indicated she would not be able to attend the
Ramsey County League of Local Governments meeting on July 20th.
Councilmember Enrooth said he thought he could make it and would make
the reservation requested in the notice.
Enrooth Says Recycling Task Force Sees the Reuter Operation as a
Viable Method of Getting Rid of City's Garbage
• 8
