City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> August 13, 2002 <br /> Page 5 <br /> • Councilmember Faust indicated that he felt it was important to articulate all that the Council has <br /> done since the last Council meeting: met with the School Board, attended National Night Out, <br /> Councilmember Faust became ambassador to Salo, Finland. He reviewed the events of the visit <br /> with the Council which included a tour around the Metropolitan area, a golf tournament, and a <br /> flag raising ceremony. <br /> Councilmember Faust recognized the various other people that contributed to the success of the <br /> visit from Salo, Finland. <br /> Mayor Hodson stated that they had a great meeting last week, trying to fill some of the gap <br /> regarding the Northwest Quadrant project. He added that there will still be a lot of exploring of <br /> the issue,but it was very positive. <br /> Mayor Hodson also felt that National Night Out was a great success in the City of St. Anthony. <br /> He added that he felt that the Council really works well together, which was re-enforced during <br /> National Night Out. <br /> IX.
