The City Council is <br /> interested in negotiating a lease with APT (American Portable Telecom) for use of the City's <br /> • water tower for antenna space for communication purposes. <br /> The Council would like APT to consider the following when negotiating a lease: <br /> 1. A site plan detailing how the antennas will be placed on the tower as well as the <br /> cabinets that you plan to install beneath the tower; <br /> 2. $1,000 per month for the original work and $100 per month for each additional antenna <br /> above the original; and <br /> 3. Miscellaneous issues - The City currently has an antenna on the tower for 911 calls for <br /> police and fire and obviously does not want that antenna impacted.
