DUTIES OF PARTICIPANTS • The duties and responsibilities of project participants are covered in the enclosed draft Agreement for Services . PROPOSAL MEETING The expertise of your firm in the field of bridge design has been established by way of its inclusion on the Counties list of approved bridge design consultants . Three consulting firms have been selected from the approved list for presentations of proposals . Information that you are to provide at the proposal meeting should be restricted to your interpretation of the specific needs and demands of the subject project . Award of the contract will be based on the content of presentation, fees, experience and expertise of the firm as it applies to this project . Please be prepared to address and/or furnish the following items at the proposal meeting. * An oral presentation on how you intend to accomplish the project including considerations of appropriate structure types and how they will best fit the site during and after the construction phase . * An oral and written presentation on your firm including • available expertise and experience on past similar projects . * Complete and present the enclosed Agreement for Consultant Services in accordance with the instructions . AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES Fill in the blanks on the draft agreement in accordance with the following instructions : Page 1 . Provide the name and address of your firm. Page 2 . Provide the not to exceed amount for geotechnical services . Provide the not to exceed amount for preliminary phase basic services . Provide the estimated construction cost and maximum fee as a percent of the construction cost . Page 3 . Provide the not to exceed amount for reimbursable expenses . Page 4 . Provide working days required to complete preliminary and • final phases of work.
