Current sufficiency rating is 23 . 3 . The south bound lanes are served by bridge 62503 . This bridge, built in 1961, consists of 3 precast concrete slab beam spans with an asphaltic wearing course . The bridge is supported by concrete abutments and piers . Roadway width is 30 feet with a six foot sidewalk on one side . Vertical clearance is approximately 22 feet . Both bridges span a single railroad track which is under the jurisdiction of the C. P. Rail System. Silver Lake Road is a 4 lane divided highway with turn lanes at intersections and major entrances . Current posted speed is 35 mph. 1993 average annual daily traffic was counted at 14 , 250 vehicles per day. Vehicle turning movement counts are enclosed for your reference. The initial roadway was constructed in 1961 and widened in 1975 . The segment from the bridges, south and through the County Road D • intersection was constructed in 1985 . Soils are anticipated to be plastic having a Hveem stabilometer resistance value of approximately 20 . Acquisition of additional permanent right-of-way will be extremely difficult . Due to the heavy volumes of traffic and the existence of commercial developments it will be necessary to construct this project under traffic . Access to businesses must be maintained to the fullest extent practicable throughout the construction activities . The City of St . Anthony is actively working with prospective businesses for the redevelopment of Apache Plaza and adjacent sites.
