CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br /> 6 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. <br /> 7 II. ROLL CALL. <br /> 8 Councilmembers Present: Ranallo, Marks, Enrooth, Wagner and Faust. <br /> 9 Councilmembers Absent: None. <br /> 10 Also present: Michael Mornson, City Manager; Kim Moore-Sykes, Management <br /> 11 Assistant; Dick Engstrom, Chief of Police; Mike Larson, Liquor Operations <br /> 12 Manager; Bill Bruce, AN Design. <br /> 13 III. REVIEW 1997 LEVY RESOLUTION AND SET DATES FOR TRUTH IN <br /> 14 TAXATION HEARINGS. <br /> 15 The City Manager reviewed the resolution setting the tax levy. The proposed dates <br /> 16 for the Truth in Taxation Hearings are December 4th and December 18th. The <br /> 17 City Manager said that he scheduled a budget review with Staff for the October 1st <br /> . work session. Another work session could be scheduled for December 3rd. <br /> 19 IV. CITY HALL UPDATE. <br /> 20 A. Bill Bruce, AN Designs, reported on recommendations for cable equipment <br /> 21 to be installed in the new Council Chambers. He also reported that the <br /> 22 City's franchise fees will cover the costs of the cameras, microphones, and <br /> 23 monitors. He indicated that he will work with Staff to get bid documents <br /> 24 together and mailed out. <br /> 25 B. The Management Assistant gave a status report on the furniture bids. <br /> 26 V. REVIEW PROSECUTING ATTORNEY ARRANGEMENT. <br /> 27 Chief of Police reported on the contract with the Prosecuting Attorney. The <br /> 28 Council directed the Chief and the City Manager to meet with the Prosecuting <br /> 29 Attorney to discuss any concerns. <br /> 30 VI. TAX INCREMENT FINANCING HEARING DATES AND DISCUSSION <br /> 31 OF CHANGES. <br /> 32 The City Manager reported that the Planning Commission will review the amended <br /> 33 TIF plan. The Council scheduled November 12, 1996 hearing for the amendments <br /> 34 to the TIF plan. <br /> 0 • <br />
