• 1 The City Manager indicated that the inspections are planned to begin in
November and the Staff will use the summer to notify and provide information
to the residents regarding the inspection process. He indicated that once a
property has been inspected and, if found to be out of compliance with the
City's Sump Pump Ordinance, the property owner will have 45 days to comply
with the Ordinance.

XII. The Mayor indicated that after many public meetings, it was agreed
to build the facility that currently exists, with the City renting space to
Community Services and the Sports Boosters contributing funds for the gym.
He said the City Council made the decision to have the City Staff schedule use
in the facility because it is a City owned facility.

It was proposed that Staff track all requests for the facility that cannot be
fulfilled for whatever reason. The Council discussed the need to look into the
• 22 need of hiring a part time employee for the building on weekends and after
hours.

XIII. Computer Services. The Council requested that the other bidders for the
provision of computer services to the City be scheduled to present their
proposals.

3. Prosecution Services. The City Manager reported that the City
prosecuting attorneys are not planning to increase their fees, but that that will be
contingent upon the new DWI law. He said they indicated that if there are
significant changes as a result of the new legislation, they may have to propose
an increase in fees to cover additional attorney time spent dealing with new
issues.

4.
