PHONE NO. : 612 933 1153 May. 18 1998 10:59AM P5 • Lee Square Redevelopment Project Lee Square in Robbinsdale Minnesota was commissioned by the HRA to provide affordable Senior Housing. Richard Krier was retained to prepare a plan,work with the neighborhood groups and with the developer Kraus Anderson to redevelop this elementary school site into senior housing. Highway 8 Redevelopment Project Highway 8 in New Brighton,Minnesota is an older redevelopment project which had been planned in the 1970s by a competitive firm but was not successfully implemented. The New Brighton Economlc Development Commission retained Richard Mer to redesign the project, recruit a private developer, and implement the project working with the EDC. Mr. Krier recruited both a housing developer and commercial developer and negotiated development • contracts with them. Edenvale This 800 acre planned community in Eden Prairie includes high, median and low density residential housing as well as office and industrial parks. Members of RLK Kuusisto assisted in the general planning as well as specific office park and residential portions of the planned community. The project incorporates trails,parks, a golf course, and various land uses. Northwest Property Association This 2,000 acre planned community encompasses the area north of Rochester,Minnesota and includes an expansion area for IBM as well as a number of other office and commercial interests. The majority of the area was planned and developed as low density residential,but the plan and eventual development also involved high density and medium density residential as well as a municipal golf course,parks, trail,and a nature center. XLK Kuusisto personnel • directed and created the master plan and accomplished the city approval process.
