RESOLUTION N0. 65-016 <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE EMPLOYEES <br /> • PERSONNEL MANUAL RELATING TO SALARIES AND FRINGE BENEFITS <br /> AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village <br /> of St. Anthony as follows : <br /> WHEREAS the IUOE ;X49 Union has made certain requests <br /> and demands for adjustments in salaries and fringe benefits, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS these requests and demands have been reviewed and <br /> discussed with an adjustment panel and have been agreed upon <br /> by the panel and the Village Manager who has prepared a formal <br /> recommendation and submitted same to the Village Council for <br /> consideration; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Council <br /> hereby revises the personnel manual as follows : <br /> Section I <br /> Added to Section I shall be the following statement : <br /> "The needs of Ste Anthony Village as a municipality <br /> require as a primary requisite in the classification and <br /> assignment of employees the principle of flexibility. " <br /> Section III <br /> POSITIONS COVERED shall be noted as Subdivision A. <br /> Subdivision B shall be as follo!rs : <br /> Be PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT POSITION CLASSIFICATION <br /> The Village recognizes and establishes the following <br /> position classifications : <br /> Foreman <br /> Maintenance Man III <br /> Maintenance Man II <br /> Maintenance Man I <br /> Custodian <br /> The Maintenance Man III position requires that a majority <br /> of time on the job by one employee is spent utilizing the genera: <br /> level of skill required for operation of the motor grader, back- <br /> hoe, loader and/or sweeper; one employee utilizing the skill <br /> level required for an equipment mechanic. <br /> The Maintenance Man II position classification recognizes a <br /> level of skill by those positions of i,rhat was formerly called <br /> water and sewer utility maintenance man and skills above those <br /> of the Maintenance Man Io <br />
