` .. <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 68-047 <br /> • A RESOLUTION OF AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING <br /> A COMMUNITY RECREATION AND ADULT EDUCA- <br /> TION PROGRAM <br /> Agreement between School District 282 and the Village of St. Anthony. <br /> The Village and School District are mutually interested in an adequate program of <br /> community recreation and adult education and agree to jointly sponsor a Village <br /> Recreation Director. <br /> In the interest of providing the best service with the least possible expenditure of <br /> public funds, full cooperation between the Village and the School District is agreed <br /> upon. <br /> Therefore, in consideration of the premises, the Village and School District agree <br /> to cooperate with each other to carry out the above purpose, and to that end do <br /> agree as follows <br /> 1 ) The School District will make available to the Recreation Director for com- <br /> munity recreational activities and adult educational programs, all school <br /> facilities, and playground areas which are suitable for community recreational <br /> activities and adult education activities; these areas are to be selected <br /> by the Recreation Director, subject to the approval of the Superintendent of <br /> the School District. <br /> • 2) The Village will make available to the Recreation Director for community <br /> recreational activities or programs all Village playground and park areas <br /> which are suitable for said events. The facilities to be selected by the <br /> Recreation Director, subject to the approval of the Village Manager. <br /> 3) The Recreation Director will be responsible for the scheduling and admini- <br /> stration of the following activities- <br /> a) Adult education activities. <br /> b) Organized community recreation activities including community use of the <br /> swimming pool during non-school hours. <br /> 4) It is hereby agreed that a schedule of dates for the use of the District School <br /> facilities will be worked out in advance by the Recreation Director, and that <br /> this schedule will be arranged as to avoid conflict between school and recrea- <br /> tional use; that in the scheduling of said facilities, school events and <br /> programs shall have first priority and programs established by the Recreation <br /> Director shall have second priority, and any other events by other groups or <br /> agencies shall have third priority. <br /> 5) It is further agreed that a schedule of dates for the use of the Village <br /> facilities will be worked out in advance by the Recreation Director, and that <br /> this schedule will be arranged as to avoid conflict between the recreational <br /> and school use; that in the scheduling of said facilities, recreation activ- <br /> ities shall have first priority and school events and programs shall have <br /> . second priority, and any other events by other groups or agencies shall have <br /> third priority. <br /> 6) It is understood and agreed that the personnel employed by the Village in its <br /> recreational activities shall be under the supervision of the Recreation <br /> Director, and further that the school Superintendent or his agent is expected <br />
