RESOLUTION N0. 68-047 A RESOLUTION OF AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING A COMMUNITY RECREATION AND ADULT EDUCA- TION PROGRAM Agreement between School District 282 and the Village of St. Anthony. The Village and School District are mutually interested in an adequate program of community recreation and adult education and agree to jointly sponsor a Village Recreation Director. In the interest of providing the best service with the least possible expenditure of public funds, full cooperation between the Village and the School District is agreed upon. Therefore, in consideration of the premises, the Village and School District agree to cooperate with each other to carry out the above purpose, and to that end do agree as follows: 1 ) The School District will make available to the Recreation Director for com- munity recreational activities and adult educational programs, all school facilities, and playground areas which are suitable for community recreational activities and adult education activities; these areas are to be selected by the Recreation Director, subject to the approval of the Superintendent of the School District. • 2 ) The Village will make available to the Recreation Director for community recreational activities or programs all Village playground and park areas which are suitable for said events. The facilities to be selected by the Recreation Director, subject to the approval of the Village Manager. 3) The Recreation Director will be responsible for the scheduling and admini- stration of the following activities- a) Adult education activities. b) Organized community recreation activities including community use of the swimming pool during non-school hours. 4) It is hereby agreed that a schedule of dates for the use of the District School facilities will be worked out in advance by the Recreation Director, and that this schedule will be arranged as to avoid conflict between school and recrea- tional use; that in the scheduling of said facilities, school events and programs shall have first priority and programs established by the Recreation Director shall have second priority, and any other events by other groups or agencies shall have third priority. 5) It is further agreed that a schedule of dates for the use of the Village facilities will be worked out in advance by the Recreation Director, and that this schedule will be arranged as to avoid conflict between the recreational and school use; that in the scheduling of said facilities, recreation activ- ities shall have first priority and school events and programs shall have • second priority, and any other events by other groups or agencies shall have third priority. 6) It is understood and agreed that the personnel employed by the Village in its recreational activities shalt be under the supervision of the Recreation Director, and further that the school Superintendent or his agent is expected
