STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY <br /> • CRIMINAL JUSTICE DATACOMMUNICATIONS NETWORK (CJDN) AGREEMENT <br /> [CONTRACT # I <br /> THIS agreement is made by and between the State of Minnesota , <br /> Department of Public Safety, and the St. Anthony Police Department <br /> (MN0272000) (hereinafter "agency") . <br /> WHEREAS, Minn. Stat. §§ 299C.46-299C. 50 (Laws 1977, Chapter 424 ) <br /> sets forth the duties of the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department <br /> of Public Safety (hereinafter "DPS" ) with regard to the state Criminal <br /> Justice Datacommunications Network (hereinafter "CJDN" ) ; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to statutory authority DPS "has established the <br /> CJDN and may establish a monthly operational charge to be paid by each <br /> criminal justice agency which Participates in CJDN; <br /> • <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED: <br /> 1. The agency is allocated a total of 1 terminals on <br /> the CJDN , of which 1 will be paid for by DPS and 0 <br /> terminals may be added by the agency at its own expense. <br /> 2. DPS will pay all CJDN communications line and standard terminal <br /> costs to the extent that legislative appropriations permit. At such <br /> time as CJDN costs exceed the approved appropriations, excess costs <br /> will be prorated by the number of agencies on the network and the agency <br /> will be billed accordingly. <br /> 3. If the agency has terminals with options above the standard <br /> terminal (s) to be provided, it will be billed for all costs in excess of <br /> the standard (s) (e.g. , a programmable terminal instead of a standard <br /> • cathode ray tube terminal, etc. ) . <br />
