• AMENDMENT FORM <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA AMDUNT <br /> MINNESOTA POLLUTION CONTROL AGENCY $19,061 <br /> AID #832543 <br /> City of St. Anthony <br /> 3301 Silver Lake Road <br /> St. Anthony, Minnesota 55418-1699 <br /> AMENDMENT N0. 2 TO CONT'RAC'T' NO. 32300-19754 <br /> WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota (State) , Minnesota Pollution Control <br /> Agency (MPCA) has a contract identified as Contract No. 32300-19754-01 with the <br /> city of St. Anthony (City) to rehabilitate city well #3, obtain pipeline <br /> easements and provide operation and maintenance service at the St. Anthony <br /> • Granular Activated Carbon Plant during the first year of the Extended Remedial <br /> Actions (Extended RA) , and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has requested that a standby generator be included as <br /> part of the Remedial Action project. This standby generator would be used in <br /> emergencies to provide electricity to the high service pumps to enable the City <br /> to provide water during times of electrical outages; and <br /> WHEREAS, this generator is only to be used for its intended function by <br /> the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the State and the EPA have reviewed this request and have <br /> agreed that a standby generator is an acceptablepurchaseas part of the - - - - <br /> Remedial Action project; and <br /> WHEREAS, paragraph 1.2.3 provides that: <br /> Part 4.0 of this contract describes the tasks to be performed and the <br /> manner of performance under this contract. This contract may be amended <br /> • if the parties agree to undertake additional activities beyond the scope <br /> of work described in Part 4.0; and <br />
