• 16 hour police presence at minimum within the boundaries of <br /> Lauderdale, <br /> Animal Control services as provided within the City of St. <br /> Anthony, <br /> Ordinance Enforcement - of all ordinances, with special <br /> attention given to parking, winter and nuisance ordinances, <br /> Ticketing - at a minimum, but not limited to, 2 (two) hours of <br /> ticketing per month for traffic violations, <br /> Crime prevention programs that encourage community involvement <br /> and investment in the City. <br /> IV. TERMS AND COSTS OF CONTRACT <br /> This contract shall be effective January 1, 1994 and shall continue <br /> until December 31, 1997. In consideration of the services provided <br /> under this Agreement, Lauderdale shall pay the City of St. Anthony <br /> $158, 000 in Agreement year 1994 for police services. That cost <br /> shall increase no more than 3% each agreement year (1995 & 1996) , <br /> and shall be provided to the City of Lauderdale on or before <br /> September 1 of each year. <br /> V. METHOD OF PAYMENT <br /> • St. Anthony agrees to bill Lauderdale on a monthly basis and <br /> Lauderdale agrees to promptly remit payments to St. Anthony within <br /> thirty (30) days. <br /> VI. LIABILITY <br /> St. Anthony shall be responsible for all liability incurred as a <br /> result of the action of St. Anthony Police Officers under this <br /> agreement. St. Anthony agrees to hold Lauderdale harmless for any <br /> liability resulting from actions of a St. Anthony employee. <br /> VII. ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITY <br /> The law enforcement services rendered to Lauderdale shall be under <br /> the sole direction of St. Anthony. The standards of performance, <br /> the hiring and discipline of officers assigned, and other matters <br /> relating to regulations and policies shall remain within the <br /> control of St. Anthony. <br /> VIII. JOINT ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br /> Both cities will appoint members to a joint advisory committee. <br /> Membership shall include at minimum, the police chief, <br /> manager/administrator from each community, and one city council <br /> member from each community. The committee shall meet at least 6 <br /> (six) times each year to ensure the police service contract is <br /> meeting the expectations of both cities. Any recommendations shall <br /> be strictly advisory. <br /> • 2 <br />
