• <br /> CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 00-017 <br /> A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE LOWRY AVENUE <br /> CORRIDOR PLAN GRANT APPLICATION <br /> WHEREAS, the easternmost section of Lowry Avenue is located in Hennepin County within <br /> the City of St. Anthony; and <br /> WHEREAS, Lowry Avenue has been in a downward cycle in social and economic conditions <br /> for a long time; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Board has designated the Lowry Corridor in north <br /> Minneapolis as a Hennepin County Community Works Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, Hennepin County is pursuing approval of a grant application from the Federal <br /> Highway Administration towards a plan which could result in a revitalized and <br /> improved environment for the Lowry Avenue Corridor. <br /> • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br /> hereby declares its support of Hennepin County's grant application relating to the Lowry <br /> Avenue Corridor Plan. <br /> Adopted this 257 day of , 2000. <br /> Mayo <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed by Administration: <br /> City Ma ger <br /> • <br />
