• <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: December 4,2001 <br /> TO: Mike Morrison, City Manager <br /> FROM: Jay Hartman, Director of Public Works <br /> ITEM: Cleaning Service Contract <br /> The City advertised and received two (2) bids for the cleaning service contract for <br /> City Hall, Police Department and all of Community Services common areas. The <br /> bid opening was on November 16, 2001 with the following results. <br /> • ❑ Town and Country Cleaning Services - $48,760 per year <br /> ❑ Compton Cleaning Service Company - $45,240 per year <br /> It is my recommendation that the City continue using Compton Cleaning Service <br /> for the next two years, 2002 and 2003. They have indicated that the contract price <br /> will remain the same for both 2002 and 2003. <br /> Compton has not increased their yearly cleaning fees since 1997. <br /> Please contact me with any questions. <br /> Jay <br /> • <br />
