CITY OF ST ANTHONY <br /> • RESOLUTION 03-075 <br /> A RESOLUTION SETTING THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY PROPOSED 2004 TAX LEVY <br /> AND BUDGET IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRUTH IN TAXATION ACT <br /> WHEREAS, State Law requires that the City of St. Anthony provide Hennepin <br /> and Ramsey Counties with a proposed certified 2004 tax levy <br /> and budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council discussed the proposed 2004 budget at its July 29th, 2003, <br /> work session; and <br /> WHEREAS, the St Legislature has mandated levy limits on all City Governments; and <br /> WHEREAS, the furnishing of this proposed tax levy and budget is made contingent upon any <br /> revisions being allowed if the current law is modified; and <br /> WHEREAS, the information required for the City Council to determine a definitive tax levy <br /> will be determined when the City of St. Anthony holds its public hearing on <br /> December 8, 2003; and if necessary holds its reconvening hearing on December 15, <br /> 2003; <br /> • <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that: <br /> 1) The collectible 2004 proposed property tax levy is: <br /> Property Tax Levy Limit $ 2,329,036.00 <br /> Road Improvement Levy $ 581,636.38 <br /> Certificate of Indebtedness-Fire Truck $ 85,500.00 <br /> Lease Revenue Bonds/Public Facilities $ 395,467.00 <br /> Housing&Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 55,500.00 <br /> Tax Abatement Levy - Central Park Bonds $ 28,343.00 <br /> PERA Rate Increase Levy % 7,500-00 <br /> Total 2004 Proposed Tax Levy $3,482,982.38 <br /> 2) The 2004 General Fund Proposed Budget tota2, 76, 0 <br /> Adopted this-2—day of 24kdL �zb�v , 2003 <br /> ATTEST: Mayor <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: City Manager-,W. /,, <br />
